What we cover
Three-pronged approach: (1) material selection — favour long-staple natural fibres (cotton, hemp, wool) over synthetics where possible; (2) yarn engineering — tight twist, longer staple, smoother surface for synthetic blends; (3) consumer guidance — wash bag (Guppyfriend) included with synthetic-blend apparel, label care instructions optimise shedding reduction.
Methodology
TMC (The Microfibre Consortium) test methodology for shedding rates. Internal threshold: <150 mg / kg fabric / wash. Knit construction preferred over fleece for synthetic blends. Packaging migration: rigid bioplastic boxes use cellulose-PLA, not PE/PET. Active monitoring via TMC Roadmap 2030 commitments.
Reporting and compliance — Poland
Reporting cadence: annual sustainability disclosure aligned with CSRD/ESRS, GRI Standards, CDP Climate Change. Country-specific compliance for Poland: VAT 23% invoicing context applies to operations; sustainability disclosures published in English and PL. Warszawa hub serves as primary reporting boundary for Poland.

How much do synthetics shed?
100% polyester fleece sheds 200-400 mg / kg / wash. Our blends target <150 mg.
Cotton vs synthetic?
We default to cotton for T-shirts, hoodies; only use polyester where performance requires (sports merch).
Guppyfriend wash bag?
Included with all synthetic-blend apparel orders above MOQ 50.
Packaging?
Cellulose-PLA boxes; no PE/PET films for retail-ready packs.
