Thirty six people who sign off on merch

The same proposal fails for different reasons depending on who reads it. These thirty six profiles describe the person behind the approval: what they are called in a Polish company, what they control, what they are measured on and what they object to.

What each role actually decides

The detail is deliberately practical. A chief procurement officer cares about vendor onboarding, framework pricing and an audit trail, a brand manager cares about Pantone matching and how the product photographs, and a chief financial officer cares about budget caps and monthly reporting. A chief sustainability officer sets the environmental criteria for everyone else and rarely holds the budget.

Each profile lists the role in the way it appears in Polish job titles, the decision criteria, the recurring objection and the shape of the buying cycle. That last part matters most: large banks and listed companies run vendor due diligence for two to four weeks before a price is discussed, while a company under fifty staff can go from first contact to purchase order in two weeks.
