The EU Packaging & Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) is moving into enforcement. Here is the practical impact on corporate merch packaging in Poland for 2026.
What PPWR actually mandates
PPWR sets minimum recycled-content thresholds for plastic packaging (10-35% depending on category), bans selected single-use formats from 2030, requires recyclability classes A/B/C on labels, and obliges economic operators to design for recyclability. For corporate merch this hits the gift box, the polybag, the filler material and the carrier bag.
How it plays in Poland
From the Warszawa hub we now default every Poland order to FSC-certified gift boxes, paper void-fill (no plastic peanuts), kraft mailers and polybag-free where SKU geometry allows. Where polybag is unavoidable we use 80% recycled LDPE. All packaging carries A/B/C recyclability mark per PPWR. Billed in EUR excluding VAT 23% via KSeF.
