PLA (polylactic acid) from fermented corn-starch — biodegradable polymer for branded cups, cutlery, packaging, and event-merch with fossil-free origin.
Specs and finishes
PLA from non-GMO sugar-fermented corn-starch. EN13432 industrial-compost certified within 180 days. Heat-deflection at 55°C standard (suitable for cold-drinks); CPLA modified grade tolerates 90°C (suitable for hot-drink lids). Available as 3D-print filament, injection-mould pellets, or extruded film. Naturally translucent or pigmented with bio-colours.
Branding options and MOQ
Pad-print bio-ink (MOQ 250), in-mould labelling (MOQ 1000), screen-print water-based (MOQ 500), and laser-engraving for crystalline surface (MOQ 100). Pigments must be bio-compatible for full compostability claim.
